Description
Systems may be simulated on analog computers. Components of a system are convertible into the language of an operational analog computer which then simulates charge and discharge curves and permits tests of the effects of changing parameters or of the changing contribution of the simulated subsystem to the larger and more complex system of which it is a part. Such simulations facilitate studies of complex networks which have flows and storage of energy in ecosystems, biological systems, electronic networks, chemical engineering chains, and social systems.
