Description
The concept of the universe as a texture of relations between parts which though distinguishable, as they must be to be related, are not merely inseparable but intrinsically interdependent. The existence and character of each is what it is because the rest of the universe, as a whole and in its parts, are what they are. Whole and part are mutually determining and no detail could be other than it is without making some difference, however slight, to all the rest.
