Description
Energy values in isolated or closed systems will remain constant (or be conserved) regardless of the forms that the energy takes, i.e. chemical, electrical, thermal, etc. No energy can be lost (assuming symmetry in space-time). In homogeneous space isolated systems will conserve momentum regardless of where they are. The principles or laws of energy conservation are also applied to the universe as a closed system, and phenomena such as entropy find application in such a framework.
