Description
The study of purposes and purposefulness. It deals with the purposes of human beings in this world and is not concerned with the grand purposes of a universe or deity. The elementary principles of teletic inquiry relate to: the time sequence concept of purposeful action; the multiplicity of organizational purposes; the patterns that bring order out of this multiplicity; and the balance between clarity and vagueness in purpose formulation. Teletics is considered to be distinct from teleology.
